This job is with Encode Inc, a fully owned subsidiary of LanceSoft.
Work Location: San Antonio, TX 91-375 Building 91-375
Max Pay Rate: $61
Shift: Primarily 1st shift, must also be open to 2nd shift if needed
This position will require the ability to obtain customer approval for access. Dual citizenship or prior citizenship of any other country may preclude ability to obtain access. A 3rd party background check relating to personal and business finances, residences, employment history, past drug use, prior military service, and criminal behavior will be conducted. Beginning August 2026, Secret clearance will be required for program access.
***NOTE: Dual citizenship is acceptable in most cases as long as proof of US citizenship is provided.
Job Description: 
Technical Publication Position Responsibilities:
•Interprets and analyzes engineering data, reliability and maintainability data, supply chain data, and customer operations and support concepts to develop aircraft maintenance instructions
•Writes and maintains technical documentation for operating, testing, inspecting and maintaining aircraft systems and/or components.
•Provides recommendations on product supportability and establishes operation maintenance tasks and support resources.
•Identifies and analyzes logistics support candidates from product definition and develops logistics support analysis records and reports.
•Review logistics support analysis reports, and develop or revise the initial maintenance instructions for continued airworthiness (ICA)
•Track and status completion of tasks using Boeing workflow management tools
•Perform quality checks on completed maintenance tasks
•Influence maintenance approach and product designs to ensure supportability and maintainability of the product
•Validate the quality and accuracy of completed maintenance manual procedures on the aircraft
•Coordinate with aircraft manufacturing teams to schedule the validation of maintenance tasks
•Interface with US government customers to verify maintenance procedures on the aircraft

Required Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
•5+ years of experience with aircraft maintenance and/or modifications
•5+ years of experience with interpreting engineering data for inclusion into maintenance manuals and/or technical publications

Preferred qualifications:
•Experience with airplane maintenance manuals in a line maintenance environment
