My name is Avery, and I am a Recruiter with The Fountain Group. We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Manufacturing Planner 3 for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in San Antonio, TX details of the position are as follows: 
 
Job Description: 
  • Pay: $50.13 an hr based on experience
  • 11 Month Assignment possibility of extension or conversion based on performance and budget
  • Shift: 4x10 2:30PM – 10:00PM  
  • The position will mainly be responsible for planning and leading department/organization processes for developing, implementing, and maintaining various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as built configuration
  • Develops and plans manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives
  • Prepares and build analyses and cost estimate reports
  • Leads integration of complex suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements
  • Participates in source selection to ensure manufacturing requirements are met
  • Develops complex tooling from initial design to end of use disposition
  • Leads investigation and resolution of complex or systemic manufacturing related issues
  • Leads teams performing producibility assesments of design concepts
  • Leads development of complex work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments
  • Drafts, updates, and reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements
  • Reviews and implements non-conformance requirements into shop floor work orders and supplier specifications
  • Translates design requirements Electronic Bill of Materials (EBOM) into Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) to create and maintain part demand within the program production system.
Qualifications: 
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Secret Clerance Required
  • 5+ years of experience within manufacturing planning
  • Experience with GOLD
