Looking to build your laboratory experience with a stable manufacturing operation? We are hiring a Laboratory Technician to support product quality and production through hands-on testing, sample preparation, and accurate documentation.
This is a great opportunity for someone with laboratory, quality, food/beverage, chemical, or manufacturing experience who enjoys hands-on work and wants an opportunity to grow.
Prepare and test process and finished-product samples
Perform wet chemistry and instrumental laboratory testing
Operate standard lab equipment such as pH meters, balances, and spectrophotometers
Record test results accurately in computerized laboratory systems
Monitor production processes and communicate results or needed adjustments to Operations
Perform basic calibration and light maintenance on laboratory equipment
Maintain samples, testing records, and laboratory documentation
Help ensure equipment and testing systems are operating accurately
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment
Follow FDA, GMP, EPA, OSHA, and company safety and quality standards
Associate degree or higher in a science-related field preferred
Previous laboratory, quality, plant, or manufacturing experience preferred
Experience with lab equipment and testing procedures is a plus
Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word, and computerized data systems
Strong basic math, documentation, and record-keeping skills
Dependable with a strong attendance and safety record
Able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and remain on your feet for extended periods
This position requires flexibility for 2nd or 3rd shift and follows a biweekly rotation:
Week 1: Monday through Friday
Week 2: Monday through Sunday, based on customer demand
Weekend flexibility is required.
Employees must wear long pants and safety-toe boots with a minimum 6-inch height and defined heel.
