Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of young learners. This role requires creativity, patience, and the ability to engage students in various subjects while addressing diverse learning needs. Individual needs to be flexible and out going while working in a collaborative environment

Duties

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
  • Assess student progress through standardized testing and ongoing evaluations.
  • Create an collaborative classroom environment that supports students with variety of educational needs.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively, employing behavior management strategies to maintain a positive atmosphere.
  • Foster relationships with students to encourage their personal growth and development in early childhood education.
  • Provide tutoring and additional support for students who require extra assistance.
  • Communicate and work with parents, colleagues, and specialists to enhance student learning experiences in a collaborative team.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
  • Experience working with students in an elementary school setting is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and effective teaching strategies.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to work with others in a collaborative high energy team environment.
