Key Responsibilities
Provide direct respiratory care and diagnostic services to patients in an acute care setting
Assess, treat, and monitor patients with breathing disorders and cardiopulmonary conditions
Administer respiratory therapies including mechanical ventilation and aerosolized medications
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans
Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses accurately in accordance with facility protocols
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist within the specialty
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification through the NBRC
Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in respiratory care and diagnostic services within a hospital environment
Familiarity with a high-volume acute care setting
