Responsibilities of a General Manager
- Assume responsibility for ALL functions of a Papa Johns restaurant to ensure high-quality products and customer service are delivered while maximizing our profits.
- Be a self-sufficient leader making quality decisions and instilling pride and accountability in team members.
- Manage operations including the execution of all company policies, procedures, programs, and systems while complying with all federal, state, and local laws and ethical business practices.
- Build a system of quality with team members which ensures each delivered product meets Papa Johns standards and accurately reflects the customers order.
- Promptly respond to all customer concerns and issues and solicit customer and team member feedback to improve restaurant operations and build brand loyalty.
- Actively recruit customer-focused team members, maintain adequate staffing levels according to projected sales, and properly orient and train team members to exceed customer expectations.
- Build an atmosphere of teamwork, energy, and fun.
- Manage profit goals and ensure food, labor, and other controllable costs stay within budget and correct deviations by accurately using the PROFIT System.
- Manage the companys assets by keeping the restaurant clean and fully equipped and all equipment maintained.
