What Youll Do
- Prepare and operate complex cath lab equipment including fluoroscopy, digital imaging, ultrasound, and catheterization tools.
- Assist with cardiac procedures, ensuring all patient safety protocols and aseptic techniques are followed.
- Document patient info and procedural data accurately and timely.
- Maintain equipment and monitor lab supplies and supplies to ensure smooth workflow.
- Collaborate with medical teams to ensure quality patient care during procedures.
- Support the physician actively during interventions, including imaging and safety procedures.
- Serve as the radiation safety representative, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Engage in continuous learning to develop proficiency in specialized cath lab technologies.
- Support department goals for safety, efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
What You Need
Required:- Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology program or healthcare-related associate degree.
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA).
- Basic sound clinical skills with 0-1 years of experience.
- State licensure based on modality (e.g., RRT or FUS in NM).
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
Preferred:- PALS certification.
- Certification such as RCIS, RCES, RCS, or similar.
