What You’ll Do
  • Prepare and operate complex cath lab equipment including fluoroscopy, digital imaging, ultrasound, and catheterization tools.
  • Assist with cardiac procedures, ensuring all patient safety protocols and aseptic techniques are followed.
  • Document patient info and procedural data accurately and timely.
  • Maintain equipment and monitor lab supplies and supplies to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Collaborate with medical teams to ensure quality patient care during procedures.
  • Support the physician actively during interventions, including imaging and safety procedures.
  • Serve as the radiation safety representative, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Engage in continuous learning to develop proficiency in specialized cath lab technologies.
  • Support department goals for safety, efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
What You Need
Required:
  • Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology program or healthcare-related associate degree.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA).
  • Basic sound clinical skills with 0-1 years of experience.
  • State licensure based on modality (e.g., RRT or FUS in NM).
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.

Preferred:
  • PALS certification.
  • Certification such as RCIS, RCES, RCS, or similar.
