What You’ll Do:
  • Provide specialized care in orthopedic, general, podiatry, GYN/OB (including C-sections), pain management, urology, and endoscopy procedures.
  • Demonstrate proficiency and independence in patient assessments, nursing diagnoses, planning, and implementation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, physicians, and management to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Support patient advocacy, respecting confidentiality and cultural/religious beliefs.
  • Practice proper medication administration following the five rights.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families of diverse backgrounds.
  • Maintain clinical competence by staying updated on best practices and hospital policies.
  • Adhere to hospital and unit policies, legal compliance, and safety standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and community outreach as needed.

What You Need:
  • Active RN license in New Mexico
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (AHA)
  • Verbal CPI certification
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to support the hospital’s mission and philosophy
