What Youll Do:- Provide specialized care in orthopedic, general, podiatry, GYN/OB (including C-sections), pain management, urology, and endoscopy procedures.
- Demonstrate proficiency and independence in patient assessments, nursing diagnoses, planning, and implementation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, physicians, and management to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Support patient advocacy, respecting confidentiality and cultural/religious beliefs.
- Practice proper medication administration following the five rights.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families of diverse backgrounds.
- Maintain clinical competence by staying updated on best practices and hospital policies.
- Adhere to hospital and unit policies, legal compliance, and safety standards.
- Participate in quality improvement activities and community outreach as needed.
What You Need:- Active RN license in New Mexico
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (AHA)
- Verbal CPI certification
- Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills and willingness to support the hospitals mission and philosophy
