What Youll Do
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields for surgeries including multiple specialty areas such as Transplants, Open Heart, Urology, Neurology, Robotics, and more.
- Assist surgeons by passing instruments and sutures during procedures.
- Set up operating rooms with supplies, instruments, and equipment per case requirements.
- Support patient transport and positioning to ensure safety and comfort.
- Adhere to infection control and safety procedures, including universal precautions.
- Monitor surgical environment and maintain proper traffic control and sanitation.
- Collaborate effectively with surgical teams to ensure smooth procedures and excellent patient care.
What You Need
Required:- BLS certification via AHA
- Certified Surgical Technologist within 180 days of graduation, or LVN/LPN license
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of relevant experience preferred
Preferred:- Ability to scrub in multiple specialties including transplants, robotics, neurology, etc.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
