What Youll Do- Provide skilled nursing care to telemetry patients, including post-cardiac catheter and post-surgical patients.
- Monitor patients on high-risk medications such as heparin, nitroglycerin, insulin, and drips like ketamine and lidocaine.
- Oversee respiratory patients on NIPPV (BiPAP, AirVo).
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and perform Point of Care testing.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and families about medications and post-discharge care.
What You Need- Valid RN license for New Mexico or a current Compact state license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
- Recent experience in telemetry and cardiac care preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication with patients, families, and team members.
