What Youll Do
- Assess and prioritize patient care for adult and pediatric populations, including post-partum mothers and post-op patients
- Develop and implement individualized care plans aligned with nursing standards
- Reassess patients regularly to monitor progress and modify care plans as needed
- Collaborate with medical teams and communicate effectively with patients and families
- Perform Point of Care testing and document interventions accurately
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning
- Participate in orientation and mentoring of new staff and students
- Float between units such as L&D and MedSurg as required
What You Need
Required:- Current New Mexico RN license or license from a Compact state
- BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), NRP, and STABLE certifications
- At least 2 years of relevant RN experience preferred, with pediatric and med-surg experience ideal
Preferred:- Experience caring for pediatric and adult patients
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
