What Youll Do:
- Provide routine and complex endoscopy nursing care independently, adhering to standards of practice.
- Monitor and administer medications, treatments, and interventions during procedures.
- Assess and document patient history, symptoms, and care plans accurately.
- Educate patients and families about procedures, pre- and post-care instructions.
- Collaborate with surgical teams and other departments within Surgical Services.
- Float to different departments within Surgical Services as needed.
- Participate in on-call responsibilities, including weekend call shifts.
What You Need:
Required:- RN license in the state of New Mexico or a compact state
- BLS certification via AHA
- ACLS certification via AHA
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar clinical setting preferred
Preferred:- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
- Experience in endoscopy or digestive health specialties
