4K Aide Long-Term Substitute

(Full-time, Temporary Position)

Spring Valley Elementary School is seeking a substitute paraprofessional for the approximate period of October 12, 2026 through December 11, 2026.

7.5 hours daily Monday - Friday

Duties include some or all of the following:

• Curriculum & Activity Support: Assist the classroom teacher with implementing play-based 4K learning activities, and prepping materials.

• Student Supervision: Monitor children during free play and outdoor recess to maintain safety.

• Behavior Management: Support positive behavior strategies and help enforce classroom rules in line with school policies.

• Personal Care Assistance: Help young students with daily needs, including handwashing, outerwear, or restroom assistance.

• Safety & Physical Engagement: Maintain physical safety and actively engage with children (capable of lifting up to 50 lbs).

• Classroom Operations: Keep the learning environment clean, safe, and organized, including sanitizing toys and reporting student progress or concerns to the teacher.
