JOB SUMMARY
Glenwood Elementary School in the School District of Greenfield seeks an highly motivated and caring individual to provide instructional support under the direct supervision of a highly qualified teacher in order to provide developmentally appropriate learning for 4-5 year old students.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide coaching, feedback, and supports to students as they learn through play and class activities
- Provide supervision of students at recess, in the lunchroom/cafeteria, in classrooms
- Monitor student behavior and provide positive support promoting students' character development and problem-solving skills
- Assists the classroom teacher in providing individual and small group instruction
- Assist with classroom management
- Assist with technology support during instruction
- Assist with instructional materials organization for classroom
- Communicate with classroom teacher on an ongoing basis
- Serve as a role model for students by conducting self as a responsible, respectful and positive school community member
- Other duties as assigned by building Principal
