6-12 Physical Education/Fitness Team Leader

DESCRIPTION: Plan, facilitate and organize instructional alignment with state standards and student needs. Review data with teams. Facilitate meetings. Work with K-12 Art/PE/Library/Music teachers at the district level. Other related duties as assigned. Facilitating effective PLC meetings by: Nurturing your team's culture of trust and interdependency Focusing your team on the 4 PLC questions Upholding team norms Creating agendas Modeling a belief in student ability Engaging in the continuous improvement process to improve student learning Facilitating the organization and maintenance of instructional unit plans Leading data protocols Surfacing "best practices" through leading collaborative discussion Developing team goals Identifying and communicating professional development needs
QUALIFICATIONS: Current certificated employee of the Wenatchee School District. Must have the ability to motivate. Must have excellent human relations, communication, organizational and leadership skills. Attendance and punctuality are important functions of this position.
