What Youll Do- Provide independent nursing care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in the operating room setting
- Assist with a variety of surgical cases including pain management, ENT, urology, gynecology, podiatry, general surgery, and some ortho procedures
- Administer medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring for efficacy and side effects
- Document patient histories, procedures, and care plans accurately
- Assess patient needs, provide pre and post-op education to patients and families
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Follow all facility and regulatory standards to deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care
What You Need- Valid RN license in Louisiana or a valid compact state license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through AHA
- At least 1 year of relevant clinical nursing experience preferred
- Strong assessment, documentation, and patient education skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced surgical environment
