What Youll Do
- Perform transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and other cardiac ultrasound procedures based on physician orders
- Apply knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology to capture diagnostic-quality images
- Ensure accurate documentation and proper labeling of studies in compliance with standards
- Work independently on assignments of moderate complexity, seeking guidance for more complex cases
- Collaborate with cardiologists and clinical staff to provide timely and accurate diagnostic support
- Maintain equipment and participate in routine quality control processes
- Communicate effectively with patients and referring providers, potentially assisting with patient education
What You Need
Required:- Graduate of an accredited echocardiogram, cardiovascular sonography, or equivalent program
- 1-3 years of echocardiography experience (preferred)
- Valid BLS certification
- One of the following registrations:
- Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS by ARDMS
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by CCI
- Vascular Sonography (VS) by ARRT
Preferred:- Intraoperative TEE experience
- Experience working in hospital or outpatient settings
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
