What Youll Do- Provide specialized telemetry and cardiac patient care with a focus on MI, CHF, arrhythmias, PVD, and cardiac drips
- Administer medications and monitor treatment effectiveness
- Perform assessments, document patient histories, and update care plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families about their conditions and treatments
- Adapt to floating requirements within the facility as needed and maintain appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios (5:1, occasionally 6:1)
- Follow all clinical protocols, including safe medication administration and documentation
What You Need- Current Louisiana RN license or compact license
- BLS and ACLS certification from AHA
- Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in telemetry or related unit
- Ability to work night shifts and meet weekend rotation requirements
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and adaptability
