What Youll Do- Provide competent nursing care to cardiac and telemetry patients in a step-down setting
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes promptly
- Administer medications and treatments according to protocols
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient information thoroughly
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health status and treatments
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Follow unit-specific procedures and safety protocols
What You Need- Valid RN license in Louisiana or a multistate compact license
- BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
- At least 1 year of recent nursing experience in a cardiac or telemetry setting preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment

This position involves working in a dedicated cardiac and telemetry unit within a highly-regarded facility in Alexandria. The unit is not a step-down, focused on acute cardiac care, requiring skilled nurses who can practice independently and handle complex patient needs.
