What You’ll Do
  • Provide competent nursing care to cardiac and telemetry patients in a step-down setting
  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes promptly
  • Administer medications and treatments according to protocols
  • Document assessments, interventions, and patient information thoroughly
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Educate patients and families on health status and treatments
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records
  • Follow unit-specific procedures and safety protocols

What You Need
  • Valid RN license in Louisiana or a multistate compact license
  • BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
  • At least 1 year of recent nursing experience in a cardiac or telemetry setting preferred
  • Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment
