What Youll Do
- Provide routine and complex care on a Basic MedSurg unit during night shifts
- Administer medications and treatments following protocols; monitor for side effects and effectiveness
- Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided accurately
- Assess patient needs and educate patients and families accordingly
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care
- Support long-term care goals and clinical management strategies
- Make appropriate clinical decisions and delegate tasks as needed
What You Need
Required:- RN license in Louisiana or a compact state
- BLS certification from AHA
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience (preferred)
Preferred:- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
- Previous experience in MedSurg nursing
