What You’ll Do
  • Provide advanced nursing care for critically ill patients, including those with DKA, respiratory failure, MI, CABGs, and ventilator needs in a mixed ICU environment
  • Manage complex cardiovascular situations such as intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impellas, and post-op cardiovascular surgeries
  • Monitor vital signs, administer medications/treatments, and assess patient responses
  • Document clinical findings and interventions thoroughly
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and families, addressing emotional and cultural needs
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and adhere to safety protocols

What You Need
  • Valid RN license in Louisiana or current compact state license
  • BLS and ACLS certifications via AHA
  • At least 1 year of critical care experience (preferred, new grads considered)
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong assessment, communication, and clinical skills
