What Youll Do
- Provide complex and routine critical care for patients in a mixed cardiac and medical ICU
- Administer medications including vasoactive drugs like Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps, Impellas, and CRRT therapy
- Monitor patient vitals, responses to treatments, and manage ventilated patients
- Document patient history, medications, and care activities accurately
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families about treatments and recovery processes
- Ensure compliance with facility protocols and safety standards
What You Need
Required:- RN license in Louisiana or valid compact license
- BLS and ACLS certification from AHA
- At least 1 year of critical care experience (or new graduate with relevant training)
Preferred:- Experience with intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impellas, post-op cardiovascular surgeries, and CRRT
- Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills
- Ability to work independently and handle complex patient needs
