What You’ll Do
  • Provide complex and routine critical care for patients in a mixed cardiac and medical ICU
  • Administer medications including vasoactive drugs like Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps, Impellas, and CRRT therapy
  • Monitor patient vitals, responses to treatments, and manage ventilated patients
  • Document patient history, medications, and care activities accurately
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Educate patients and families about treatments and recovery processes
  • Ensure compliance with facility protocols and safety standards
What You Need
Required:
  • RN license in Louisiana or valid compact license
  • BLS and ACLS certification from AHA
  • At least 1 year of critical care experience (or new graduate with relevant training)

Preferred:
  • Experience with intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impellas, post-op cardiovascular surgeries, and CRRT
  • Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle complex patient needs
