What Youll Do
- Provide high-quality ICU care for patients with conditions such as DKA, Acute Respiratory Failure, MIs, CABGs, Ventilators, and more.
- Manage complex post-operative cardiovascular patients, including intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impellas, and CRRT.
- Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and document care processes.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management.
- Follow protocols for patient safety and clinical best practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital standards.
What You Need
Required:- RN License in Louisiana or a valid compact license
- BLS certification via AHA
- ACLS certification via AHA
- At least 1 year of recent ICU or critical care experience (perferred)
Preferred:- Experience with intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impellas, post-op cardiovascular surgeries, or CRRT.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred)
