What Youll Do
- Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac cath lab patients, including those undergoing TAVR, device insertion, and peripheral procedures
- Administer medications and monitor side effects, adjusting care plans as needed
- Document patient histories, treatments, and responses accurately
- Collaborate with a team of nurses and technicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on procedures and post-care instructions
- Assess patient needs and adjust care in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain compliance with safety and health protocols
What You Need
Required:- RN license in the state of Louisiana or a Compact State
- BLS certification from AHA
- ACLS certification from AHA
- At least 1 year of nursing experience in a similar setting preferred
Preferred:- Experience in critical care or cardiac units
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong assessment and documentation skills
