What Youll Do
- Support cardiac catheterization procedures, including TAVR, device placements, and peripheral interventions
- Prepare the lab and operate essential imaging and diagnostic equipment, including fluoroscopy and digital imaging systems
- Maintain strict aseptic technique and ensure patient safety during procedures
- Document patient information, hemodynamic measurements, and procedure details accurately
- Assist the medical team with patient positioning and equipment setup
- Support department operations by managing supplies and participating in safety protocols
- Act as radiation safety representative during X-ray procedures
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and team members to optimize patient care and departmental efficiency
What You Need
- Required:
- Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology or healthcare-related program (Associate's degree or higher preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- State licensure based on modality (e.g., Louisiana LRT)
- Preferred:
- 0-1 year of acute care experience
- Certifications such as RCIS, RCES, RCS, or ARRT modalities, with lapsed ARRT certifications qualifying under LSRTBE exemption
