Tool & Die Maker to join a well established manufacturing operation in
Richland County, Ohio!
This is a permanent,

As a
Tool & Die Maker, you'll play an important role in keeping manufacturing operations running efficiently. You'll build, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain precision tooling and dies used in metal stamping and production. This position requires someone who enjoys hands-on problem solving, precision machining, and taking ownership of tooling challenges.
Job Responsibilities- Build, assemble, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair tooling, dies, and fixtures used in manufacturing operations
- Diagnose and resolve die-related issues to minimize production downtime
- Operate manual and CNC machining equipment, including mills, lathes, and surface grinders
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to produce or modify tooling
- Perform precision machining, fitting, and adjustments to ensure proper tooling performance
- Inspect tooling and components using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments
- Partner with production and maintenance teams to troubleshoot tooling concerns and improve equipment performance
- Complete preventative maintenance, tooling adjustments, and necessary documentation
- Maintain quality standards and follow established safety procedures
Requirements- Minimum of 4+ years of hands on tool and die experience
- Journeyman Tool & Die Maker certification preferred, not required.
- Strong experience with tooling construction, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting
- Proficiency operating manual machining equipment and CNC machinery
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling materials, and precision measurements
- Ability to independently diagnose tooling problems and determine effective solutions
- Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Experience:- Metal stamping or automotive manufacturing experience
- Die maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting in a production environment
- Experience with complex tooling adjustments and precision machining
Compensation & Benefits- Up to $30/hr , depending on experience
