Sigma Inc., a staffing company, is hiring a 3rd Shift Production Operator – Industrial for a manufacturing opportunity in Turlock, CA. This position is ideal for candidates with experience operating production equipment, handling materials, monitoring product quality, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

The Production Operator will operate and monitor a batching and mixing system used in feed production, ensuring materials are processed accurately, production schedules are met, and quality standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor batching, mixing, and other production equipment to meet manufacturing specifications and production targets.

• Sequence feed batches correctly and ensure materials are directed to the appropriate locations.

• Monitor machine parameters, identify processing issues, and troubleshoot equipment problems.

• Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.

• Move, sort, pack, and handle raw materials and finished goods as needed.

• Clean and maintain mixers, production equipment, and supporting systems.

• Maintain accurate daily production records and follow standard operating procedures.

• Follow all workplace safety requirements and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Work collaboratively with team leads and management to complete daily production assignments.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, push, pull, reach, and climb throughout the shift.

• Ability to work in environments that may include dust and varying hot or cold temperatures.

• Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment.

• Ability to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing production needs.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality and workplace safety.

• Ability to work the overnight schedule, Monday through Friday, from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM.

• Manufacturing, production, mixer operation, batching, or material-handling experience is beneficial.

Work Schedule and Compensation

• Shift: Third shift, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM, Monday–Friday

• Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour plus $1.00 per hour shift differential, for a total of $26.00 per hour

• Contract Duration: 2 months

• Work Location: Onsite in Turlock, California
