    Job Description:
    Our Material Fillers are specialists whose primary goal is to support the compounding production process by filling batches and stocking common vessels during the “work in process” stage. To do so, fillers must follow current procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), make scheduled rounds of walking the plant to complete filling duties, and communicate their progress with management. You will support the fragrance manufacturing process alongside Production Staff, Purchasing, Logistics, and Quality Control.
     
    Job Responsibilities:
    • Work with production and sample lab teams to fill empty small material containers.
    • Perform daily rounds of communication with Inventory teams to fill containers directly from closed inventory.
    • Use BatchMetrics Inventory Manager to record all material movements and transactions.
    • Re-label and maintain un-legible or unscannable inventory ID labelling.  
    • Confirm all containers are empty and place recycle stickers on each container or place them back into in-use inventory to be consumed under the direction of the inventory manager.
    • Work to maximize individual workspace efficiencies.
    • Complete daily assigned workload.
    • Report any inventory variances to the inventory manager.
    • Conduct applicable duties for department co-workers in their absence.
    • Comply with all safety and SOP procedures including forklift safety & PPE.

    Requirements
    Education and Experience:
    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • Forklift Experience required. 
    • 1-2 years relevant experience in production, or warehouse in a manufacturing environment.
    • Excellent oral and written proficiency in the English language.
    • Knowledge of Good manufacturing processes (GMP’s).
    • Ability to work well under pressure.
    • Deadline oriented.
    • IT skills - Proficiency in using common PC applications
    • Excellent ability to work with others.
    • Detail-oriented
    • Multitasking capabilities
    • Cognitive (Reasoning):
      • Apply principles of rational systems to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
      • Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, visual, or schedule form.
    • Communication:
      • Vocalize and explain detailed data and problem-solve, both in-person and by telephone Must have good communication skills (both verbal and written)
      • Compose routine correspondence on own initiative
      • Make comprehensive notes in English
      • May involve a large volume of such composition.
      • Must have ability to work well under pressure
