3rd Shift Knitt Operator

Nesco Resource is currently hiring Knit Operators for 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities in Laurens, SC. 

Job Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor industrial knitting machines and textile production equipment.
• Load materials and assist with machine setup and changeovers.
• Monitor machines throughout the production process to ensure proper operation.
• Inspect fabric and finished materials for defects or quality concerns.
• Identify issues such as broken yarn, machine stops, or material defects.
• Make basic machine adjustments and notify appropriate personnel of mechanical issues.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Keep machines and surrounding work areas clean and organized.
• Follow production schedules, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Meet daily production and efficiency goals.
• Follow all company safety procedures and required PPE guidelines.
• Perform additional production duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous textile, knitting, machine operating, or manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Ability to learn and operate industrial knitting equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation are required.
• Must be available to work an assigned 2nd or 3rd shift schedule.
