Schedule: Monday-Friday, 11:00 PM-7:00 AM
Pay: $24.00-$28.00/hour

We are looking for a strong, experienced Injection Molding Operator who is ready to step into a working Lead role. You may already be the person coworkers go to for help, training, or questions, even if you haven't officially held a Lead title.

This is a hands-on production role, not a Process Technician position. You will work alongside the team, operate molding equipment, help coordinate the shift, train employees, monitor quality and production, and escalate technical issues when needed.

• Work alongside the team and perform Injection Molding Operator duties as needed.
• Provide day-to-day direction and support to molding operators and assembly employees.
• Coordinate work assignments based on production priorities.
• Monitor production, part quality, scrap, and downtime.
• Recognize common molding defects, machine issues, and production concerns and escalate appropriately.
• Train, coach, and support new and existing employees.
• Ensure required inspections and production documentation are completed accurately.
• Support secondary assembly operations as needed.
• Communicate production and quality issues during shift handoffs.
• Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

  Qualifications

  
  Required:
  
• 2+ years of hands-on Injection Molding Operator experience.
• Experience operating injection molding machines in a production environment.
• Ability to recognize common molding defects and production issues.
• Experience performing in-process inspections and completing production documentation.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to help train and guide other employees.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 
  Preferred:
  
• Experience as a Senior Molding Operator, Lead Operator, Trainer, or similar role.
• Experience training or mentoring other operators.
• Medical device or regulated manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of GDP/cGDP or ISO 13485.
• Experience with IQMS/DELMIAWorks.
• 
  Previous Lead experience is not required. If you're an experienced Injection Molding Operator who is dependable, knowledgeable, and already someone others turn to for help, we'd like to hear from you.
  Hands-on injection molding experience is required. General manufacturing, assembly, or quality experience alone does not meet the minimum qualifications.
