CNC Machinist / Manufacturing Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings, layouts, dimensions, and work instructions to perform machining operations.
• Read and use manual measuring gauges and precision inspection instruments to verify part dimensions and quality.
• Load, align, set up, and operate CNC and conventional machining equipment in accordance with specifications and established procedures.
• Maintain accurate production, inspection, and quality records.
• Follow established quality standards, manufacturing procedures, and workplace safety requirements.
• Collaborate effectively within a self-directed, high-performance manufacturing team.
• Comply with all environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of experience setting up and operating CNC grinders, lathes, milling machines, or similar machining equipment, or graduation from a recognized machinist or toolmaker training program.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Basic shop mathematics skills and knowledge of machining methods, cutting tools, and manufacturing processes.
• Willingness to work any assigned shift and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to successfully complete a job-related mechanical skills assessment.
• Ability to meet applicable pre-employment physical, drug screening, background screening, and ongoing testing requirements.
• Ability to meet job-related visual requirements, including near vision and color perception.

Preferred Qualifications

• Computer proficiency and familiarity with manufacturing data systems.
• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Experience using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
• Familiarity with CNC machine controls and precision measurement techniques.
