Leadpoint Business Services is currently seeking a Full-Time Bilingual Maintenance Helper in support of our site management team in Clackamas, OR. This Maintenance Helper assists maintenance technicians in installation, maintenance, and repairs of various equipment.

Bilingual Maintenance Helper 3rd Shift – Clackamas, OR

Shift: 9pm to 5:30am

Pay: $22.66/hr

Sunday to Thursday, must be flexible to work on weekends on occasions

Leadpoint Business Services is currently seeking a Full-Time Bilingual Maintenance Helper in support of our site management team in Clackamas, OR. This Maintenance Helper assists maintenance technicians in installation, maintenance, and repairs of various equipment. Performs preventative maintenance and equipment repair. Cleans work areas, machines and tools as needed. Performs other duties as required or assigned. 

This is a full-time job doing work that helps the environment and protects the planet. You’ll have the chance to start right away and move upover time. 

Essential Function 

• Adjust, maintain, and repair tools, equipment and machines and assist more skilled workers with similar tasks. 
• Cleans or lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, roller guards or other parts of machinery. 
• Oils chains, laces conveyor belts, changes separator screen discs and replaces chains and sprockets. 
• Inspects, operates, or tests machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. 
• Hold or supply tools, parts, equipment and supplies for other workers. 
• Prepare workstations for use by maintenance staff. 
• Transfer tools, parts, equipment and supplies to and from workstation or other areas. 
• Assists with preventive maintenance work orders. 
• Complies with all corporate policies and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules while working.

Physical Demands 

• Work performed is generally within the medium range
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the job (prolonged standing, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying and climbing). 
• Able to distinguish between various recyclable materials. 
• Be flexible to adjust shift or work additionalhours as necessary. 
• Ability to work in various conditions with exposure to dust and weather elements. 

 

Job Qualifications 

• Previous maintenance experience preferred. 
• Ability to take direction from the lead maintenance technician. 
• Basic understanding of mechanics and the ability to use hand/power tools. 
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and up to 80 lbs. as needed. 
• Demonstrated common sense, judgment, communication skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
