Primary
Purpose:
Reporting
to
the
Assistant
Director
of
MTSS,
you
will
support
the
effective
implementation
of
the
district's
multi-tiered
system
of
supports
(MTSS)
model
and
vision.
The
MTSS
Coordinator
will
assist
with
all
MTSS
procedures
across
the
district,
including communicating
with
school
site
teams, developing
training
for
school
staff
and
teachers, providing
MTSS
resources,
guiding
school-based
processes,
and monitoring
data.
Qualifications
Education/Certification:
Master's
degree
in
a
related
area
Valid
Texas
Teacher
Certification
Valid
Texas
Administrator
Certification
or
other
appropriate
certifications,
preferred
Experience:
Minimum
three
(3)
years
of
successful
classroom
experience
Minimum
three
(3)
years
of
experience
with
in-campus/central
office
leadership

Responsibilities
and
Duties
1.
Coordinate
the
implementation,
administration,
and
continuous
improvement
of
the
district's
online
learning
and
digital
course
programs,
ensuring
equitable
access,
program
fidelity,
and
student
success.
2.
Collaborate
with
campus
administrators,
counselors,
and
instructional
staff
to
support
student
enrollment,
scheduling,
progress
monitoring,
credit
attainment,
and
successful
completion
of
online
coursework.
3.
Develop,
implement,
and
maintain
procedures,
resources,
and
training
to
support
district
online
learning
initiatives
and
ensure
compliance
with
district,
state,
and
federal
requirements.
4.
Lead
the
implementation
and
continuous
improvement
of
the
district's
Multi-Tiered
System
of
Supports
(MTSS),
providing
guidance
and
support
to
campuses
in
the
delivery
of
academic
interventions,
enrichment,
and
student
failure
prevention
programs.
5.
Coordinate
district
and
campus
implementation
of
state-mandated
accelerated
instruction
(HB
1416),
ensuring
compliance
with
implementation
requirements,
documentation,
accelerated
instruction
hours,
and
Accelerated
Education
Plans
(AEPs).
6.
Oversee
PEIMS
reporting
related
to
accelerated
instruction
and
other
assigned
state
reporting
requirements
by
collaborating
with
campuses
and
district
departments
to
ensure
accurate
and
timely
data
submission.
7.
Analyze
district,
campus,
and
student
performance
data
to
evaluate
the
effectiveness
of
MTSS,
online
learning
initiatives,
intervention
programs,
and
accelerated
instruction,
and
recommend
continuous
program
improvements.
8.
Develop
and
deliver
professional
learning,
implementation
resources,
and
technical
assistance
related
to
MTSS,
online
learning,
accelerated
instruction,
and
academic
intervention
programs.
9.
Build
and
maintain
positive
working
relationships
with
teachers,
administrators,
parents,
and
community
stakeholders
to
support
student
achievement.
Project
Management
10.
Assist
in
the
development,
implementation,
and
continuous
improvement
of
the
districtwide
MTSS
framework
to
support
student
achievement
and
academic
acceleration.
11.
Coordinate
district
projects
related
to
online
learning,
accelerated
instruction,
intervention
programming,
and
academic
success
initiatives.
12.
Manage
implementation
timelines,
communication
plans,
and
campus
support
for
assigned
district
initiatives.
13.
Coordinate
the
procurement,
inventory,
and
distribution
of
instructional
resources,
digital
subscriptions,
and
materials
supporting
MTSS
and
online
learning
programs.
14.
Develop
procedures,
guidance
documents,
and
implementation
tools
to
support
consistent
districtwide
practices.
15.
Provide
technical
assistance
and
ongoing
support
to
campuses
in
the
implementation
of
district
programs
and
initiatives.

Implement

established

federal
and
state

Board
of
Education
rule,
and
local
board
policy.

Compile,
maintain,
and
file
all
reports,
records,
and
other

impact
on
MTSS,
accelerated
instruction

online
learning,
assessment,
credit
and
cycle
recovery,
and
academic

programming.
