Part-Time Closing Teacher Assistant
Location: Stepping Stones Child Academy – Lincoln, NE
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Are you looking for a rewarding part-time role where you can make a big impact in just a few hours a day? Stepping Stones Child Academy is looking for a dedicated Closing Teacher Assistant to join our team!
This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and enjoys the energy of the afternoon pick-up transition. As the face of our center during the final hours of the day, you will ensure our students finish their day on a high note and head home safely.
Your Role & Responsibilities:
- Engage & Support: Work with various age groups (infants to preschoolers), assisting lead teachers with afternoon activities and supervised play.
- Parent Connection: Serve as a key point of contact for families. You’ll provide warm, professional updates to parents during pick-up, sharing highlights of their child’s day.
- Create a Positive Environment: Help maintain a nurturing, inclusive, and safe classroom until the very last child leaves.
- Center Closing: Take pride in "putting the school to bed." You will be responsible for light closing duties, ensuring classrooms are tidy, organized, and ready for a fresh start the next morning.
