2nd Shift Warehouse Worker

Tends machine that performs one or more packaging functions such as filling, marking, labeling, banding, tying, packing, or wrapping containers by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Starts machine and observes operation to detect malfunctions of machine.
Stops machine and reports malfunction to supervisor.
Makes minor adjustments or repairs such as opening valves, changing forming ad cutting dies, setting guides, or clearing away damaged product containers.
Inspects filled container to ensure that product is packaged according to specifications.
Feeds product to conveyors, hoppers, or other feeding devices, and unloads packaged product.
Replenishes packaging supplies such as wrapping paper, plastic sheet, boxes, cartons, glue, ink, or labels.
Mounts supplies on spindles or places supplies in hopper or other feeding devices.
Positions and holds container in machine and depresses pedal, presses button, or moves lever to clean, glue, label, sew, or staple container.
Cuts stencils and stencils information on container such as lot number or shipping destination.
Places finished packages into shipping cases and stacks finished product onto pallets.
Levels grain inside bins or other confined spaces.

Education / Experience
Highschool diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience or training.

Basic math and Language skills

Physical demands
The employee must regularly lift and or move up to 50lbs, frequently lift and or move 25lbs.
