Warehouse Associate – 2nd Shift

Location: Arden, NC 28704
Pay Rate: $19.83/hr total ( $17.83/hr base + $2 shift differential)

• Sunday overtime may be available

Contract Duration: 1 Year

Overview

The Warehouse Associate supports order fulfillment and material movement within a fast-paced distribution environment. This role is responsible for picking, packing, shipping, receiving, inventory handling, and operating powered material-handling equipment while maintaining a clean and safe warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, label, weigh, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Operate forklifts, stock pickers, reach trucks, and electric/manual pallet jacks.
• Load and unload freight safely and efficiently.
• Verify shipment quantities and inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damage.
• Perform order induction, repackaging, strapping, sorting, and staging.
• Complete warehouse paperwork and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Perform battery changes, charging, and basic daily equipment inspections.
• Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas using 5S standards.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and operational instructions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience operating forklifts, stock pickers, and reach trucks required.
• Experience with powered and manual pallet jacks.
• Knowledge of warehouse material handling, inventory control, and safety procedures.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout an 8+ hour shift.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist.
