Our partner, an established manufacturing company is looking for a
Shipping & Receiving Associate to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience who is looking for a position with the potential to become permanent.
The ideal candidate will be dependable, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position will begin with training on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd shift.
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming materials and products
- Assist with daily shipping and receiving activities
- Verify quantities and product information
- Organize and move materials throughout the warehouse
- Prepare products and materials for shipment
- Maintain an organized and safe work environment
- Follow company safety and quality procedures
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift and move materials as required
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Willingness to train on 1st shift before moving to 2nd shift
Schedule
Training: 1st Shift –approximately 6: 30 AM–3: 00 PM
After training, the position will transition to:
2nd Shift –approximately 2: 30 PM–11: 00 PM
This is a temp-to-permanent opportunity, with the potential to become a permanent employee for the right candidate.
