Job Summary
Russel Metals is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Saw Operator to join our team in Suwanee, GA. This position is responsible for operating metal-cutting saw equipment, accurately processing customer orders, and ensuring quality standards are met in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
Operate band saws and other cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
Read and interpret work orders, measurements, and specifications.
Measure, cut, and process metal materials to customer requirements.
Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.
Load and unload materials as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous manufacturing, warehouse, machine operator, or saw operator experience preferred.
Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable attendance and stable work history.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus but not required.
