2nd Shift Production Supervisor

Reporting into the Production Manager, as the 2nd Shift Production Supervisor you will be responsible for the following:

  • Supervise, guide, and lead all aspects of the 2nd shift production operations.
  • Oversee and staff of around 40 individuals.
  • Implement safety and quality control measures in line with company policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot any production issues.
  • Manage employee performance and attendance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Manage production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Enforce compliance with all local and federal safety regulations.
  • Train new employees on company policies, safety procedures, and job duties.

A successful 2nd Shift Production Supervisor should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree but not required.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production related position.
  • Proficiency in production planning and scheduling.
  • In-depth knowledge of safety protocols and quality control measures.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
