Surestaff is immediately hiring Packers for a facility in Rockford, IL that makes dog food and treats. This role involves packaging and stacking products, folding, taping and labeling cartons, inspecting finished products, removing unsuitable products and assisting on the production line as needed. Surestaff is invested in their team members! All employees are offered competitive pay ($15.08/hr), as well as access to a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shift: 2nd shift: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:30 PM Responsibilities of the Packer: • Package and stack products in proper quantities • Fold, tape and label cartons for product packaging • Inspect and package products with consistency and attention to quality • Remove unsuitable products and report consistent flaws to a supervisor • Pick product from the conveyor • Assist on the production line as needed • Maintain a clean packing area and follow safety policies Required Qualifications of the Packer: • Must be able to stand, reach and repeatedly grasp throughout the shift • Must be able to bend periodically throughout the shift • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally • Must be able to read and follow directions • Must have excellent attendance and communication skills • Must be able to follow company policies, procedures and food safety standards • Must wear required safety gear, including hairnet, gloves and company issued uniform About Surestaff At Surestaff, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
