    2nd Shift Materials Supervisor

    Minimum 5 Years experience in Materials Supervision 

    Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Materials Supervisor to fill a 2nd Shift opening with a manufacturing company located in Normal, IL. The ideal candidates should have hands-on experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment. 

     

    Requirements of the Materials Supervisor

    • 3+ Years Materials Supervision inside Manufacturing

    • JIT Automotive Sequencing - Preferred

    • Strong Analytical & Formal Problem Solving Skills

    • Proficient with Microsoft Applications - Excel

    • Proficient with ERP Systems - QAD Preferred

    Responsibilities of the Materials Supervisor

    • The Materials Supervisor will coordinate all material control systems, inbound/outbound shipments, and materials handling activities and inventory control primarily from the shop floor.

    • Coordinate all material handler activities.

    • Coordinate activities for warehouse layout.

    • Training, coaching, developing the material handling team.

    • Implement and assist in development of cycle counting and pull system for each commodity.

    • Manage/coordinate the receiving and DMR processes.

    • Manage the input of incoming receipts on a regular timely basis.

    • Manage the process of outbound shipments.

    • Coordinate all customs compliance requirements.

    • Observes Materials/Production operation within their area of control to ascertain

    • Compliance with methods, quality standards, safety regulations, 5 s and Production/Materials Standards.

    • Efficient operation of equipment: takes corrective action to eliminate any deviation.

    • Assist in maintaining and revising visual inventory benchmarks standards.

    • Daily coordination of Production builds schedules.
