Description
Venteon is currently seeking a 2nd Shift Materials Analyst to fill an opening with a company located in Normal, IL.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Direct hire opportunity on 2nd shift with a manufacturing company in Normal, IL.
Fast-paced, hands-on environment with advancement potential.
Full-time, in-office position.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Maintain the ERP system for all material functional areas, including Item Master, BOM, ship-to locations, and inventory parameters.
Create daily production schedules and ensure production output is recorded and posted into the ERP system.
Communicate No Surprise Forms to customers when supply shortages occur.
Review daily MRP supply reports and take action as necessary.
Identify customer cumulative inaccuracies and supplier inaccuracies as needed.
Track component inventory inaccuracies for root cause identification and corrective actions, ensuring issues are corrected.
Perform daily cycle counts and reconcile inventory variances.
Track and submit Premium Freight events and downtime caused by suppliers.
Create debit memos for cost recovery.
Communicate DMRs to assigned suppliers.
Obtain disposition of Quality Hold materials.
WHAT IS REQUIRED
Minimum 5 years of experience in materials analysis.
1-2 years of experience in inventory management with a related degree, or 3-5 years of materials experience within manufacturing if no degree.
Experience with materials flow, analysis, or coordination inside manufacturing operations.
Strong preference for experience in automotive or Tier 1 JIT environments.
Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Excel.
Experience with ERP systems (QAD preferred) and WMS.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a similar field.
