2nd Shift Material Operator

Nesco Resource is looking for a 2 ^nd Shift Material Operator located in Bethel, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.

Shift: Monday-Friday 3PM-11:30PM

Pay: $22.40/Hour ($20 + 12% shift differential)

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Material Operator to support manufacturing operations. This position involves repetitive machine operation, handling material spools, and maintaining consistent quality throughout the production process. The ideal candidate is reliable, comfortable with repetitive tasks, and able to follow instructions while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery in a repetitive production environment.
• Load and handle material spools to support daily production requirements.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure materials are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain close attention to detail throughout the production process.
• Follow established work instructions and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform routine material handling and assist with other production tasks as needed.

• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Microscope experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks consistently.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable frequently lifting 5 10 lbs to load material spools.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a production environment.
• Willingness to learn new processes and equipment.
