    Description

    2nd Shift Maintenance Technician

    Minimum 3 years of Maintenance experience 

    Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to fill an opening on 2nd Shift with a Tier 1 Manufacturing Company located in Metro Detroit. Must have experience with automotive maintenance, ideally in a machining environment 

     

    Requirements of the 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician 

    • 2-4 years of Manufacturing experience 

    • 2-4 years of Maintenance experience 

    • Knowledge of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.

    • Strong Knowledge of the machines such as mills, lathes, etc. 

    • Experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance

    Responsibilities of the 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician 

    • Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.

    • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.

    • Perform machinist duties and responsibilities.

    • Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.

    • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

    • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.

    • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.

    • Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
