    Stier Supply Company - 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician

This role supports reactive and preventive maintenance, assists with repairs and installations, and helps maintain organized, well-stocked shop areas. You’ll work closely with other departments and team members, tackle a variety of mechanical and basic electrical tasks, and play a key role in minimizing downtime.We’re currently seeking a hands-on 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to help keep our equipment, machinery, and facility operating safely and efficiently. This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform reactive and preventive maintenance on machinery and facility systems

    • Diagnose issues, make repairs, and adjust machinery as needed

    • Assist with dismantling equipment to repair or replace defective components

    • Support installation of new plant equipment and perform installation tasks independently when able

    • Assist with electrical projects and perform minor electrical repairs

    • Maintain building systems, including lighting, ballasts, and elements

    • Operate shop tools, equipment, and maintenance-related machinery within skill level

    • Keep shop areas clean, organized, stocked, and inventoried

    • Conduct preventive maintenance tasks safely and on schedule

    • Assist other departments as needed

    • Inspect and assist work performed by outside contractors

    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

    • Respond to assigned repairs, emergency maintenance, and preventive maintenance needs
