2nd Shift Machine Operator Bottling Dept-Sparks, MD

Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a 2nd Shift Machine Operator for the Bottling Department located in Sparks, Maryland. This position is full-time, with consistent hours and no weekend work, offering an exciting opportunity to join a leader in water testing technology.

Responsibilities

• Operate fully and semi-automatic machines, including fillers, cappers, and labelers, often requiring two operators.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and replace worn parts as needed.
• Maintain tools and independently retrieve supplies from the warehouse.
• Ensure that products meet established quality standards.
• Keep the work area clean and adhere to GMP, HACCP, and safety guidelines.
• Complete daily records and adhere to production schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; must be a team player.
• Prior experience in bottling or manufacturing is preferred.

Required Work Hours

The position operates on a 2nd shift schedule from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Candidates must be able to commute to Sparks, MD, and commit to the scheduled shift.

Additional Details

Maximum and minimum pay is set at $18.50 per hour, with around 0% travel time required. Candidates will have a 30-minute in-person interview with hiring managers.
