    2nd Shift Position Monday- Friday

    1:00pm - 9:30pm

    Job Summary

    This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of wood preserving equipment; ensures material is treated following the appropriate specifications; Tests wood fiber and solutions to meet specific treating requirements.

    Principle Duties and Responsibilities

    • Transfer material into the treating cylinder loading and unloading from the pad.
    • Provides general preventive maintenance on equipment.
    • Completes pre-shift/startup equipment checklist and reports any problems or concerns.
    • Prepares for the daily treating schedule.
    • Follows treating protocol and instructions as described by Company policy.
    • Maintains a clean and organized work area.
    • May assist others with moving material, loading and unloading material to and from the tram
    • Participates in safety, CI and other programs and meetings.
    • Performs other duties as required


    Qualifications

    • Minimum of high school diploma/GED
    • Forklift experience preferred but not required
    • Able to work independently as well as with other team members
    • Successfully complete Forklift Driver licensing process
    • Must be at least 18 years of age

    Hourly Pay Range: $16.00- $19.00 -dependent on experience*
    *pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living

    Bonus/Incentive Pay : Incentive pay may be available for certain job roles and may include piece rate incentives, weekly production bonuses, and trip rate bonuses. A discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance may also be provided.
