Description

Facility Cleaning Technician for a global company that discovers and manufactures prescription medicines for life-threatening diseases.
Address: 4625 NE Brookwood Parkway Hillsboro, OR 97124
Schedule: Monday - Friday 4pm - 12:30am
Pay Rate: $23.45/hr (weekly pay + benefits)
6 month contract to permanent hire

Job Summary:
Operating under the supervision of the Facilities Manager, the technician performs routine cleaning, sanitization, and maintenance activities within sensitive laboratory and production environments.

Responsibilities:

Clean, sanitize, and maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing surfaces within GMP-controlled spaces.
Vacuum and dust vents, clean production rooms, tools, and specialized facility equipment according to strict chemical safety standards.
Collect and safely dispose of non-biological waste and recyclable materials throughout the production facilities.
Log, track, and complete required paperwork, batch records, and compliance documentation to fulfill strict regulatory audit guidelines.

Qualifications/Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent.
One (1) to Two (2) years of experience in cleaning GMP controlled and specialized cleanrooms.
Ability to perform repetitive physical actions, stand for extended periods, and safely lift or carry equipment (such as mop buckets, cleaning supplies, and facility fixtures) weighing up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to pass a 7-year background check.
