Pro Resources is hiring a Brake Press Operator for a growing manufacturing company in Fort Wayne, IN. This is a direct hire opportunity, so you'll be hired directly by the employer and eligible for their excellent benefits package. Pay & Schedule
- $22.00-$24.00/ hr, based on experience
- +$3.00/hr shift premium for 2nd Shift
- Monday-Thursday | 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM
- Overtime frequently available on Fridays
- Direct hire with company benefits
What You'll Do
- Set up and operate brake press machines to bend and form metal components
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
- Select the proper tooling and ensure machines are set up correctly for each job
- Inspect finished parts to verify quality and accuracy
- Perform basic machine maintenance and keep equipment clean
- Maintain a safe, organized work area
- Work closely with your team to meet production goals and deadlines
What We're Looking For
- 1-2 years of brake press experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to producing quality work and following safety procedures
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and stand for extended periods
