Forklift Driver – Job DescriptionPosition SummaryYanfeng is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Driver to support warehouse and production operations. This role is responsible for safely transporting materials, loading/unloading shipments, and ensuring efficient flow of goods throughout the facility in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
  • Load and unload materials from trucks, racks, and production lines
  • Transport raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility
  • Supply production lines with required materials in a timely manner
  • Perform inventory movements and accurately scan/track materials
  • Inspect forklift equipment daily and report maintenance or safety issues
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety guidelines, OSHA standards, and company procedures
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications
  • Previous forklift experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment (preferred)
  • Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
  • Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Basic math and documentation skills
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs regularly
  • Ability to sit, stand, and operate equipment for extended periods
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and movement throughout the shift
Work Environment
  • Automotive manufacturing facility
  • Exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and moving equipment
  • Shift work may include overtime, weekends, or rotating schedules
